Alliance House

This residence is offered exclusively to City University postgraduate students by Sanctuary Management Services ,a registered social landlord.
There are 191 individual study bedrooms, each with en-suite shower, wash hand basin and WC. These rooms are organised into clusters of 6 or 7, each cluster having its own kitchen facilities. Every study bedroom has a telephone, data and television aerial point. Bedding is not provided, students may either provide their own or purchase bedding at the residence. Cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery are not provided. The residence also has a common room with television and video, a quiet sitting room, a coin operated launderette and storage facilities for bicycles. There are also a small number of one, two and three bedroom flats on the Alliance House site which are available to City University postgraduate students. Further information about availability and prices can be obtained from the Student Centre. Alliance House is located in Newington Green, London N16, approximately 30 minutes door-to-door from the main University buildings, and easily accessible by a frequent bus service which stops right outside the main entrance to the Hall.
Students who are offered accommodation at Alliance House will sign an agreement with Sanctuary Management Services and not with City University, and will therefore be bound by Sanctuary's terms and conditions of residence.
Please note that the Alliance House site is designated entirely non-smoking. This includes all buildings and external grounds.
