Exception Exams

Some exams take place outside City examination periods. Exam information for exception exams that are organised by the Central Exams Office can be found below.

Please contact examsdata@city.ac.uk in the first instance if you have any queries about exception exams.

University exception periods that are centrally organised include:

  • Study Abroad exams in April and December
  • GDL Law Exams in June
  • Some EMBA & MBA exams throughout the year.

Please note that many departments organise their own exception examinations. If you are unsure who is organising your examinations please consult your programme handbook or course office.
