Sociological research methods

This module provides you with a basic and practical introduction to the ways in which sociologists collect and analyse research evidence.

It aims to enable you to critically appraise the reported results of social research; observe and enquire about the world around you more systematically; and select a method of research that you can use and take further in your third-year project.
