Human wrongs
In this innovative module, which provides an interdisciplinary understanding of “human wrongs”, you will examine various perspectives on humanisation; de-humanisation and re-humanisation. You will explore substantive issues through a case study examination of a range of “human wrongs” which exemplify “crimes of the powerful”.
You will learn to apply criminological and human rights approaches to the understanding of human vulnerability and violations and examine a range of “human wrongs” that constitute the basis for international law enforcement regimes and human rights campaigns.
