Economics of healthcare

The aim of this module is to introduce you to the way in which microeconomics principles and concepts can be applied to the analysis of decisions by consumers, firms and governments regarding health and healthcare.

The module aims to provide you with an understanding of the economic context within which economic evaluation takes place and to familiarise you with key economic issues confronting health systems.
