The module will introduce you to the debates surrounding the communications policy process and an analysis of ongoing developments in communications policy.

We will examine important policy developments and histories in audio-visual and telecommunications as well as new media.

Emphasis is given to communication policy developments in europe, Britain and the United States.

You will explore the cultural, economic and political context within which these communications policies have developed.
