What is the best thing about studying in London?
Having access to many career and other events, many networking and student job/internship opportunities and enjoying the cultural wonders simultaneously.
Why did you choose your course?
I chose this course because it offers a wide range of opportunities and industries we can work in post-graduating.
Why did you choose to study it at City?
What appealed to me is its exceptional reputation amongst many UNO, P&G, and Novartis employees. It's high employment rate was convincing, and the cosmopolitan envirnonment was very attractive.
What's your favourite topic within your study area?
My favourite topics are constrained optimization and decision-making processes as well as financial markets studies.
If you could give one bit of advice to a prospective City student, what would it be?
Visit your university before applying and meet your lecturers, they will help you understand the content and atmosphere of the course.
What are your plans after graduating from City?
I'd like to work in consultancy. I plan to work before completing a Masters degree, most likey at City University as well.
What are your interests outside of your course?
My extra-curricular interests consist of discovering new London areas or free events and venues. Sport is also a very important part of the experience at City, I did dance classes with the Dance Society and do Ballet outside of school. It's also fun to take part in academic-oriented activities, like writing an article for The Schumpeter or working with one of the many societies or even being Student Liaison Officer contributing to the improvement and evolution of City's students' experience.
