I am studying the Economics and Accountancy BSc (second year)

Where are you from?

I am from Parma (North of Italy)

What is the best thing about studying in London?

Career opportunities and international exposure

Why did you choose your course?

This course covers many topics, which give me a wide understanding of the economic/financial world.

Why did you choose to study it at City?

One of the best school in the UK, with extraordinary postgraduate/MBA opportunities, right in the heart of London

What's your favourite topic within your study area?

Macroeconomics because it is very applicable to real life scenarios, but also mathematics.

If you could give one bit of advice to a prospective City student, what would it be?

Be an active member of the university (doing extra curricular activities and partecipating in events) as well as start to build up your career target from the beginning without wasting time (getting information and looking aroud from the week of the first year)

What are your plans after graduating from City?

I hope to get a job in sales and trading here in London, if not i will continue further in my studies to a master degree

What are your interests outside of your course?

Sports, particularly football and skiing, I love good food (as an Italian!!), and like to travel.
