Leading the University's corporate planning and review processes.
Leading the development of the University Strategy.
Developing and monitoring key performance indicators.
Advising and collaborating with Schools and Departments on internal and external bids for funding.
Co-ordinating the University’s strategic allocation of resources including development funds and student numbers.
Acting as the liaison point for HEFCE, UUK and other external bodies, and co-ordinating the University’s response to consultations.
Providing expert advice and recommendations based on national and international environmental scanning, modelling and market research.
Providing specialist analysis of management information and datasets to support strategic planning, management and decision making across the University.
Managing and co-ordinating the provision and reporting of data, in particular the submission of statistical returns to the Higher Educational Statistics Agency (HESA) and other external bodies.
Co-ordinating the National Student Survey and advising on the design and conduct of internal student surveys.
The co-ordination of the risk management framework within the University.
