My placement taught me how to deal with project obstacles in addition of understanding various aspects of the project implementation life cycle.

Why did you decide to do a placement while at City, University of London?

It was an option in our program which helped me to prepare my Dissertation.

Where was your placement and what was your role?

I was placed at Atkins and I worked in the IT department, corporate application team in charge of the implementation of ERP systems in Atkins offices in Hong Kong and China.

What was the most important thing gained from your placement?

Gaining new skills on how to deal with project obstacles in addition of understanding various aspects of the project implementation life cycle and in particular in the following areas ( Project implementation approach, Processes design, SAT, UAT, Data migration Mapping).

What did you do after graduating?

I am currently managing the implementation of Maximo system (asset management system) in Princess Noura University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - the largest university for women and girls.
