Why did you choose to study at City, University of London?

I did my undergraduate course at City. I was pleased with the learning environment, quality of teaching on the course, location and the atmosphere I was in. Furthermore, I like the management within the university which was comforting and enabled me to adapt to university environment in a very natural and pleasant way. It is also extremely meritocratic by rewarding and penalising academics for their ability and talent.

What do you enjoy most about your course?

I enjoyed doing the practical work such as the ethical hacking coursework, it helped me to understand how the systems works, ways to bypass them and what could be done to avoid such flaws.

What has been your favourite module and why?

So far all the modules are enjoyable. My favourite would be Cryptography and Digital Forensics. Cryptography because I always had an interest in cryptanalysis and encryption methods both classic and modern. Digital Forensics because it's fascinating to know how criminally-minded people think and the ways to tackling such people.

What has been a highlight of your course so far?

The highlight of the course would be that I enjoyed doing most of the coursework, it certainly helped me to understand and implement theories and concepts. The lecturers were very helpful and proactive.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

After graduating, I hope to get a job in cyber security, focusing on risk management and forensic computer analysis.
