Why did you decide to do a placement while at City, University of London?

Graduates of City, University of London have high chances of being employed within the first 6 months of their graduation. This is something that attracted me towards the university, its programme of study and its placement scheme.

Where was your placement and what was your role?

I was placed at Capacitas Limited and my role was that of Junior Analyst which included the following main tasks:

  • Carry out performance tests against client systems
  • Advise on how the performance of their systems can be improved
  • Carrying out various day-to-day administration duties.

What has been the most important thing gained from your placement?

Key Skills Acquired: Knowledge of performance testing, improvement of technical ability and carrying out business involving clients.

What do you plan to do after graduating?

Currently employed with Virgin as a software tester.
