Why did you choose to study at City, University of London?

I was attracted to university's focus on professional excellence.

What do you enjoy most about your course?

I enjoyed the seminars and meeting members of the department who shared their experience, passions and knowledge in research. When I wanted to study abroad there were a wide selection to choose from.

What has been your favourite module and why?

I enjoyed studying History of Economic Thought. It was something distinctive in my course and fulfilling with many aspects of my discipline. I also really liked Applied modules and Advanced quantitative economics.

What has been a highlight of your course so far?

The highlight of my degree were the professors and their sincere passion to the subjects they teach. In addition, the support which I was given throughout my studies was more than just valuable, I had the attention and care from the department when needed. I am very happy I started my academic education at City and grateful to all people who supported me when I needed an advice or simply just to talk about life or future.

In addition, for my second year I was awarded an Erasmus grant to visit Toulouse School of Economics where I had a chance to expand my knowledge in the subject and  meet influential academics in the discipline. This feature was particularly influencing for my current understanding of the subject and my future professional goals.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

At the moment I consider to continue studying at Master level either in Economics or Public Policy, and I am confident that the foundation knowledge in economics I obtained from City will be helpful and bring me certain advantages.
