Employer Engagement Adviser

+44 (0)20 7040 0160

Sarah joined the Careers team from Business in the Community where she worked with business clients to build long term partnerships with schools and colleges across London, helping young people develop successful working lives through employability initiatives, curriculum projects and holistic support. She started her career at the University of York, as a Volunteering Project Officer, and is excited to be back in the university environment.  She's a passionate believer in improving social mobility through developing young people’s skills and confidence and increasing access to quality careers, and has run programmes for the National Literacy Trust and Catch22 to support this.

In her role as Employer Engagement Adviser she will be developing links between City University and employers, responding to trends and updates in the marketplace and supporting colleagues across the university to build activities to promote the best destinations for our graduates. Her key focus will be supporting Cass Business School with bespoke employer activity, assisting the UG Placements’ team and supporting the Cass undergraduate employability module, supporting the Law School and running the expanded Careers Ambassador Project.
