Biography

Before escaping from the Eastern bloc, Catherine was trained as an architect in her native Hungary. Her qualification not being recognized in the UK, she embarked on further studies and gained an M Phil in Modern Chinese Literature from London University. She taught at SOAS and the University of Westminster, was involved with the starting up of business ventures in Hungary and for several years ran a small creative business of her own. Her knowledge and experience in various areas led to her being recruited in 2007 by City, and since 2009 she has been Short Courses and CPD/Continuing Education Administrator at CREU/Enterprise Office/Research and Enterprise.
