About

Background

Dr Veselin Rakocevic graduated in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering at the University of Belgrade, Serbia, in October 1998. He then moved to London, where in January 2002 he obtained a PhD in Telecommunications at Queen Mary, University of London, and immediately after that started working at City University London as Lecturer.

His main research interest is in the operation of multihop wireless networks, especially in the problems of optimal scheduling, dynamic clustering, cooperation and network self-organisation. The application of his research can be in vehicular and ad-hoc networking, heterogeneous "4G" cellular networks, or energy network optimisation.
