About

Background

Sanmeet was awarded an LL.B in English and European Law by Queen Mary College London and Universiteit Leiden in 2003. She was called to the Bar (Middle Temple) in 2004 and in 2008 she was awarded an LL.M in Competition Law by University College London (UCL). Prior to joining City University, she taught at Queen Mary University of London and UCL.

Research

Sanmeet's research interests are in EC State Aid Law with a particular focus on environmental issues and the energy sector.

PhD supervision

Sanmeet welcomes approaches for supervision from prospective PhD students in the areas contract law, tort law and state aid law.
