Dr Parmpreet Kalsi joined City in 2013 as a Lecturer in Health Psychology. She has worked primarily within public health research, covering a wide range of topics such as smoking cessation, stroke awareness, CVD risk screening, mental health, developing training for healthcare professionals in primary and secondary health care settings, and health promotion.

She has also worked at several academic institutions as a visiting lecturer, module leader, and supervisor for postgraduate students pursuing their training in health psychology. Through her applied practice, she has acquired extensive experience in managing and supervising health research and consultancies. She has led on multi-disciplinary team projects within the NHS, as well as working closely with patient groups.
