Andrea Baronchelli obtained his PhD in Physics from the 'Sapienza' University of Rome, where he had previously completed his undergraduate degree. He then moved to the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya - BarcelonaTech in Barcelona, where he conducted his research as a University Postdoc, and as a Juan de la Cierva Fellow afterwards. In January 2012 he joined Northeastern University in Boston, MA, as a Research Associate. He started his Lecturer position at City University in September 2013.
