On the panel:

• Dr Ahmed Khalidi is Senior Associate Fellow at St Anthony's College, Oxford who has written extensively about Arab politics, regional security and the Palestinian national struggle. He has also advised the Palestinian leadership on negotiations with the Israelis.
• Grietje Baars is a lecturer in City University Law School. She spent three years (2006-2009) in Israel/Palestine where she set up a Human Rights Clinic at Al-Quds University and worked with Diakonia as an IHL lawyer, and later for the Goldstone mission.
