City University London's courses in Mechanical, Production and Manufacturing Engineering received high levels of student satisfaction in the 2012 National Student Survey (NSS) results.

EngineeringBEng/MEng programmes in Mechanical, Production and Manufacturing Engineering such as those in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering and Automotive and Motorsport Engineering received an overall score of 96 percent, placing them fourth in the UK and first in London in terms of overall student satisfaction.

All of these programmes are accredited by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Engineering Council.

According to Head of Department for Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics and Professor of Experimental Fluid Mechanics, Jamshid Nouri:

"These new student satisfaction statistics provide an important validation of our commitment to the highest standards of engineering education at City. We are delighted with these rankings both in within London and nationwide and we will continue to maintain this level of satisfaction for all of our programmes by regularly monitoring student feedback throughout the year at all levels. It should go without saying that our leadership in engineering education will continue to be recognised nationally and internationally."
