Journal devotes special issue to work of Denis Smalley, City Emeritus Professor

A Special Issue of the journal Organised Sound has been devoted to the work of City University London's Emeritus Professor and former Head of Music, Denis Smalley.
by Charlotte Organised Sound is an international peer-reviewed journal which focuses on the rapidly developing methods and issues arising from the use of technology in music today.

This 2011 Special Issue, 'Denis Smalley: his influence on the theory and practice of electroacoustic music', is guest-edited by Andrew Lewis and examines the profound influence of Denis Smalley in honour of his 65th birthday.

The issue includes contributions by City research students Erik Nyström and Aki Pasoulas and is available free online: 'Denis Smalley: his influence on the theory and practice of electroacoustic music'.

Other contributors include Manuella Blackburn, Erik Nyström, Michael Pedersen, Dante Tanzi, David Hirst, James O'Callaghan, Aki Pasoulas and Miroslav Spasov.
