Avoiding Overdue Charges

Make sure you check your library account regularly and renew or return your books on or before the due date to avoid incurring overdue charges.

Making a payment

Overdue charges can be paid online from your library account or by cash, debit/credit card or cheque at library service desks.

If overdue charges exceed £20, your borrowing privileges will be suspended until the outstanding amount is paid in full.

Partial payments are accepted for charges totalling less than £10.

Lost or stolen books

Please report immediately any items which are lost or stolen from you.

If you report any lost items before being billed for their replacement, you will be liable for the replacement and processing cost of the item only; the billing fee will be waived.

Should items be stolen from your possession while issued to you, you will be liable for the replacement cost
