Our two year Masters in Law, the M.Jur, gives you the opportunity to choose from over 30 masters courses and obtain a specialism in more than one area of commercial law. This course gives you the freedom to gain a more in-depth knowledge of commercial law enhancing your existing skill base and improving your employment prospects.

This course is designed to give you the freedom to major in one area of commercial law and gain a specialism in two other areas. You must undertake five modules and a dissertation to major in a particular area of commercial law. To gain a specialism you must take two modules and a dissertation in your chosen area.
Modules include:
You will undertake four taught modules in your first year and three taught modules in your second year. Each module consists of 10 two hour seminars.
You will be assessed by a 12,000 word dissertation in your first year and a 25,000 word dissertation in your second year.
We encourage all of our students to obtain internships and placements with regulators whilst they are studying with us. A number of internships are on offer to The City Law School students each year.
