“We're one of London's major law schools and offer an impressive range of academic and professional courses. We're the first law school in London to educate students and practitioners at all stages of legal education. ”The City Law School
Pro Bono means "for the public good" and provides a fantastic opportunity for you to participate in real, supervised, case work. All City Law School students are given the opportunity to volunteer for pro bono (public service) work while at City.
This is what our students thought of their Pro Bono experience:
‘Pro bono has helped me demonstrate my leadership skills as well as teamwork abilities…. It is an invaluable experience and anyone who participates in it will benefit in more ways than they ever would have expected.’
‘I have researched and advised on several letters…. I have improved my legal research, case preparation and opinion writing skills. I also began to appreciate the many realities and difficulties, whether legal or not, that people have to experience in life.’
‘Pro Bono is one of the easiest ways to get involved in an activity which can offer you excellent practical experience of the skills you will need when you become a lawyer.’
