What is iTunes U?

iTunes U (U for University), is an area of the Apple iTunes store where universities make available audio and video recordings of lectures. They can be viewed online or downloaded to a computer or portable device such as an iPod or iPad. You can also subscribe to receive new lectures as they become available.

In order to take advantage of iTunes U, you need to have the iTunes software installed on your computer. iTunes is available for both Mac OS X and Windows operating systems.
