Message of the Day

Information Services is currently experiencing intermittent technical issues with the new Wireless Network Service (CityUniversityStaff, CityUniversityStudent and CityUniversityVisitor).

 

The symptoms of these issues include a sporadic delay (sometimes several minutes long) in connecting to the new wireless network once you have switched on your laptop or on the initial configuration of the wireless network.

 

Extensive investigations are currently underway and our engineers are working hard to find and resolve the root cause of this issue. The service continues to work for the majority of wireless users, however we are issuing a reliability warning until further notice.

I would like to thank you for your continued patience as we work to find a solution and I will write to you with an update on an expected resolution time, in due course.
