City University London offers exchange opportunities at partner institutions around the world. To take part in an exchange at one of City's partner institutions, please follow the steps below:
Step 1: Discuss with your departmental exchange coordinator
Discuss exchange options and negotiate a suitable study plan with your Departmental Exchange Coordinator.
Step 2: Contact the International Exchange Office
The International Exchange Office will be able to advise you about your exchange and the necessary administrative requirements. You will also be able to obtain an application pack. To arrange an appointment please contact:

Step 3: Research possible destinations
Investigate possible exchange destinations thoroughly, if available also research which modules are offered at partner institution.
Step 4: Research costs and possible funding
Plan your budget and research which grants and scholarships are available to support your exchange.
Step 5: Complete your application
Contact the International Exchange office to request an application form. Complete and submit your application to the International Exchange Office by the required deadline.
Step 6: Attend the Pre-Departure Briefing
Attend session to find out information about insurance, flights, visas and your confirmation of arrival.
