Entry requirements will vary from course to course, and all decisions on admission are made on an individual basis, so the following entry requirements are only a guide.
Entry to undergraduate programmes at City is suitable for students who have completed A Levels or International Baccalaureate. High performing students who have completed a bachelor degree from a Bangladesh institution will also be considered or holders of a recognised foundation course diploma. The International Foundation Programme is a one-year programme giving guaranteed entrance to a number of City courses.
Applications for postgraduate programmes are considered on an individual basis. Only students who have taken four-year bachelor courses will be considered or those with a postgraduate degree from Bangladesh. City welcomes applications for postgraduate programmes from applicants who have studied a UK degree by distance learning.
The MBA is a mid-career qualification which is not open to fresh graduates. Applicants must have a first class degree, a minimum of three years management level work experience and a GMAT score of 600 or above.
Undergraduate - IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 79 is required (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 100 for business and IELTS 7.0 for journalism and law courses)
Postgraduate - IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 100 is required (IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 107 for business, journalism and law courses)
