Entry Requirements
Entry requirements will vary from course to course, and all decisions on admission are made on an individual basis, so the following entry requirements are only a guide.
Undergraduate programmes
Good grades from your territory/province high school leaving diploma would be expected for entry to undergraduate courses at City.
Postgraduate programmes
Applicants for postgraduate courses will need to hold a good bachelor degree usually in a related subject for entry to postgraduate courses at City.
The MBA is a mid-career qualification which is not open to fresh graduates. Applicants must have a first class degree, a minimum of three years management level work experience and a GMAT score of 600 or above.
Studying law at City
Law is the most popular subject for Canadians studying in Britain. Most are on first (bachelor) degree courses leading to the award of LLB, Bachelor of Law. City is one of several universities in England offering both a three year LLB for high school graduates and a two-year graduate LLB for students who have already graduated with a bachelor degree in another subject. English Requirements
If English is not your first language you will be expected to obtain an English qualification.
Undergraduate - IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL 79 is required (IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 100 for business and IELTS 7.0 for journalism and law courses)
Postgraduate - IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL 100 is required (IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL 107 for business, journalism and law courses)
