International Students

International Students in the UK

City University London is one of the most popular universities for international students already in the UK.  Our location in the centre of London and the international focus of our programmes makes City a natural choice for students from across the world. Staff from the International Office regularly attend local university, college and agent events throughout the UK and are happy to provide advice about City, application procedures and all other relevant areas.

Visit Schedule

We are happy to visit local schools and colleges to meet with students and staff. If you are a careers counsellor or teacher and would be interested in a representative of City visiting your school or college, please contact the International Office

Visit City

The best way to know more about City is to visit us. Throughout the year the university arranges numerous events for prospective undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Undergraduate Open Days

We arrange Open Days for students interested in undergraduate study in September, October and June each year. Open Days provide students and their families with the best opportunity of discovering what it's like to be a student at City and are strongly recommended. Our next Open Day will be held on 23 June 2012 from 10.00-15.00 with further information available closer to the date.

Postgraduate Information Evenings

The university also arranges a series of information evenings for students interested in postgraduate study at City. These sessions are arranged by each of our Schools and further information, along with a schedule of upcoming events, can be found here

Campus Tours

Throughout the year we also arrange Campus Tours which are designed to give students a chance to visit the university and provide an idea of the services and facilities available. Tours run regularly on Wednesdays at 14.00 during term time and are led by current City students. This is a general tour of the university and does not include specific departmental visits. If you would like to visit a specific department and/or speak to someone about particular course and admissions issues please contact the relevant department directly or, if you require additional advice, contact David Tumilty.

Entry Requirements

Entry requirements vary from course to course with admissions decisions taken directly by Schools on an individual basis. City University London considers academic qualifications from across the world so the following entry requirements are intended as a guide only for international based students in the UK. If your qualification is not listed here please contact the relevant department directly or the International Office.
