International Partnerships

International Partnerships

The International Office works to support and strengthen City’s global positioning through the development of a network of strategic international links and activities centred around teaching and research.

The team coordinates the development of international educational and research partnerships through formal memoranda of understanding and agreement as well as supporting projects across the University in consultation with academic staff in the various schools and departments of the institution.

In liaison with the senior University management team and the Deans/Associate Deans (International) of the various Schools, the International office also manages high-level delegations, as well as providing advice on institutional links and global partnerships in the field.

Decisions and coordination of the various activities are provided by the Internationalisation Committee of the University under the chairmanship of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & International) which meets once every term. This committee includes representatives from all the schools of the University, the International Student Recruitment team, the Research Office, the International Partnerships team and the international student advisors.
