Activities
Currently, the Centre for Health Enterprise is:
- Developing flexible teaching programmes that are action-based, practice-focused and research- oriented, anchored in social justice, equity, innovation, collaboration and collective action.
- Engaging in problem focused and evidence based research programmes that have an impact on policy, services, businesses and professions as well as on societies.
- Fostering flexible training for health professionals that uses experience, skills, participation and dialogue as learning resources.
- Developing strategies and leadership programmes that align with the needs of social policy, health, social care and voluntary organisations and practices, individuals, local, national and global communities.
- Building partnerships with other universities, businesses, commissioners, the government, communities, social enterprises that advance our teaching, research, policy, consultancy activities.
- Working closely with a group called CCaT (Consequences of Cancer and its Treatment), which is sponsored by Macmillan Cancer Support. Find out more.
