The Centre for Human Computer Interaction Design offers consultancy on usability, accessibility and requirements engineering. It has a state-of-the-art interaction lab available for hire and expertise in the latest technologies.

The Centre for Software Reliability has a long history contributing to advisory bodies and standards committees. This includes consultancy to the European Rail Traffic Management System, the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory, the UK Engineering and Interdependency Expert Group and the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
