Career summary

Marie is a Senior Lecturer in the Public Health, Primary Care and Food Policy Department, School of Community and Health Sciences, City University London. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in the United Kingdom, after which she worked in a variety of health care settings namely in The Republic of Ireland, Saudi Arabia and Norway.  Marie began working as a Practice Nurse in 1991, which co-incided with the commencement of her first degree at Kings' College London.  She is currently studying for her Doctorate in Education at Kings'.

 Marie is extensively involved in developing and delivering education for Practice Nurses both nationally and internationally.
