Profile
Lucy Myers qualified as a speech and language therapist from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne (BSc Speech and Psychology) and completed a Masters degree in Human Communication at City University.
Her clinical work has mainly been with children and young people who have developmental language impairments within mainstream education in London. Her teaching responsibilities include developmental language impairment, professional studies and evidence based practice. Her research interests include language and disadvantage, emotional and behavioural difficulties in children with language impairments, literacy and language impairment and issues round social and educational inclusion. Lucy is also Vice chair of the National Association of Language Impairments in Children.
Lucy is module leader for First Year BSc Professional Studies, Year Leader third year BSc and is a member of the clinical placements team.
