Professor - psychology
I am Professor of Psychology in the Department of Language and Communication Science at City University London.
I started my career with a Psychology degree from Manchester and a PhD from Bristol. I worked in Barcelona for 2 years and came back to London working in Linguistics at UCL, before I moved to City University in 2001.
My specialism is in language and cognitive development, and at the Deafness, Cognition and Language Centre (DCAL) I work in 3 main areas: language development, atypical language development and social-cognitive development.
