Career summary
Emma's career as a midwifery educationalist started in August 1997 when she joined the academic staff at Homerton College Cambridge School of health Studies as a Lecturer.
At this time Emma was undertaking a PGDip in Educational studies, when sheI was promoted to the position of Senior lecturer on completion of that course.
Emma continued as a Senior Lecturer in Midwifery and Women's Health when she joined the staff at London South Bank University in October 1999 to December 2007.
Emma started as a visiting Lecturer at City University London from May to October 2008, in 2008 Emma became a permanent staff member at City in the Midwifery and Child Health Department.
