Infection Prevention and Control Postgraduate Research

Healthcare-associated infection is a serious problem in health care settings internationally; and a cause of grave concern to patients, the public and policy makers.

We have a strong track record of research and publication in this area. We lead the Cochrane Review on interventions to improve hand hygiene compliance and reduce infections in health care settings, which has been an influential review internationally.

We currently have a number of PhD students undertaking research with us, and welcome further applications.
