Compass Centre Preparation Room

The Compass Centre Prep-room (DG01) is a resource room for use by staff and students of the department of Language and Communication Science. It is used primarily by staff and students running clinics at the Compass Centre or on Compass Centre Outreach clinical placements. The resources are also available to other staff and students. Students requiring access to the room should contact Jenna Hughes-Gage for the code to the digital lock. Resources include formal assessment packages, equipment for preparing therapy materials (e.g. laminator, binder) and computer-based software (e.g. "Boardmaker" and "Black Sheep" software).

The formal assessment packages are kept in locked cupboards in DG01. Students wishing to borrow an assessment are to email Jenna Hughes-Gage (jenna.hughes-gage.1@city.ac.uk) the day before they wish to pick up the assessment. Jenna will let you know whether the assessment is available, in which case it will be ready for pick-up from D217 the following day.
