Study nursing at one of London's leading universities for healthcare education and research. City University London's School of Health Sciences, offers a wide range of nursing degrees at post and pre-registration level, conversion courses, postgraduate degrees and continued professional and personal development, as well as short courses that are designed to support your career development,

Based in the heart of London, our nursing courses offer students  placement opportunities in some of London's leading clinical settings, including Bart's Health NHS Trust, University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the East London NHS Foundation Trust and Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Students benefit from specialist facilities at our Clinical Skills Centre, located at Northampton Square. The centre gives students real world experience, using state-of-the-art equipment in simulated ward settings, to prepare them for practice when they graduate, or refresh their skills and knowledge. On completion of their course, students gain professional registration to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

Undergraduate Degrees

Graduate entry conversion courses

Our graduate-entry conversion courses allow graduates from other disciplines to gain a pre-registration health qualification in approximately two years as opposed to the usual three or four - providing a fast-track route into health - or gain a second registration in midwifery, health visiting, school and district nursing.

Top-up degrees for health and social care professionals

Our range of post-registration courses for health and social care professionals allow practitioners to "top-up" their existing qualification to degree level or gain a second specialisation. For overseas nurses they provide a route to qualification for practice in the UK.
