Division of Midwifery & Radiography

The Division of Midwifery & Radiography is one of London’s leading education providers in the field, delivering courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Research within the division focuses on Maternal and Child Health, aiming to improve the health and care of women, children, families and communities. Research is multidisciplinary and draws on a range of approaches to provide rigorous evidence to inform maternal and child healthcare, policy and practice. City, University of London, is rated 1st in London for Radiography, according to The Guardian league tables, 2017.


Research in Radiography takes place across a number of different research centres in the school of Health Sciences, including the Centre for Health Services Research and the Centre for Public Health Research.

Research within Midwifery takes place within the Centre for Maternal and Child Health Research.
