Technology Portfolio
Below is a sample list of some of the technologies that are currently being commercialised at City University London. We welcome interest from parties looking for licensing or collaboration opportunities:
Nurse & Junior Doctor Rostering Software
Software to create electronic rosters for healthcare workers. It combines sophisticated mathematical programmes with a deep knowledge of personnel rostering. The method is flexible and powerful, and is designed to allow for a range of considerations including legal and contractual requirements, ergonomic guidelines and individual requests.
Patient Monitoring Software
Software to warn clinicians if their patients are stable, at risk or require immediate attention. It collects information from multiple medical devices and sends the output to a computer or mobile device.
The Eye Visor
Portable platform that provides a suite of visual function testing. It has potential uses in screening and tertiary care.
Non-invasive Glucose Monitor
Technology platform to non-invasively measure glucose levels.
Non-invasive Haemoglobin Monitor
Device that enables real-time, continuous, non-invasive monitoring of haemoglobin, which can be used to detect anaemia or monitor patient's blood levels during surgery.
Structural Design Software for Sea-Based Structures
Software which simulates the effect of '3D ocean waves' (known as 'Wave loading') on sea bed mounted structures, such as oil rigs. Then subsequently analyse the results much faster than the industry standard of 20hrs.
Compressor Design Software
Software to design twin screw compressors from City's leading Compressor Centre.
