Teaching Byzantine Chant in Diaspora




Series: City Summer Sounds Music Festival

A study day on the teaching of Byzantine chant in diaspora. This day will involve contributions from academic musicologists from the Department of Music at City University London and its Erasmus partner, the Department of Music Studies of the University of Athens as well as members of the choir Cappella Romana and instructors and students of the School of Byzantine Music of the Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain (London).

Any interested members of the public are encouraged to attend.
