EGPR 2009

Industrial partner: UMC, Utrecht
Task: Postoperative treatment of orthopaedic patients

nullUtrecht UMC work on solutions for major medical problems and have dedicated ourselves to accessible acute care, second opinion and select, highly specialised functions.

The design task was to develop a device which would help patients and physicians with the rehabilitation therapy. In this year the students from Budapest University of Technology and Economics joined EGPR for the first time. The student teams built four different prototypes and presented them at the final workshop in the Netherlands in June 2009.
