Task: Protective Systems for Welding

nullThe course in 2003 was sponsored by the Dutch company de Vlamboog, which manufactures welding equipment and welders' protection equipment.

The project task was to develop the concepts and the prototypes for devices for welders that would protect them from inhaling poisonous fumes when welding. Participating partner institutions came from Slovenia, Switzerland and the Netherlands, with 36 students participating in the course.

The course began on 11 February 2003 with an introductory video conference meeting. It finished with the closing workshop in Delft between 17 May and 25 May 2003.
