Work Based Learning (MSc) CPD
The module has been designed to support employers and practitioners who want to optimise experimental learning in the workplace. The module provides you with an opportunity to undertake Continuing Professional Development (CPD) in your practice setting and to maintain a dynamic approach in your role. It will also allow you to focus on context-specific projects to enhance and influence an aspect of your and others' practice.

Eligibility
The module is suitable for community, social and healthcare professionals who wish to study at a Master's level.
English Requirements
For those students whose first language is not English one of the
following qualifications is also required:
• IELTS: 7.0
• TOEFL (internet-based): 107
What will I learn?
The module will enable you to:
- Critically appraise your practice to identify learning and development opportunities
- Undertake a personal and professional learning and development project focusing upon enhancement of an aspect of practice relevant to your role
- Make a difference to your practice through this project by improving your clients' experiences and/or influencing your colleagues' practice
- Engage in ongoing critical reflection on how you have developed through the processes and shown leadership in your chosen learning project.
Teaching and Assessment
Teaching
Teaching methods include class-based discussions and online resources.
Assessment
Assessment for the module consists of a reflective essay on the work based project.
