Respiratory Management in Children CPD
This module provides insight into the increasing number of the child inpatient population who have underlying respiratory pathology or surviving with chronic respiratory problems.

Eligibility
- You must be a qualified nurse or midwife either in the UK or overseas.
English Requirements
For those students whose first language is not English one of thefollowing qualifications is also required:
- IELTS: 7
- TOEFL (internet-based): 100
What will I learn?
The module will enable you to:- Develop strategies for the management of respiratory diseases such as cystic fibrosis, bronchiolitis, pneumonia ,TB and asthma in children
- Provide evidence-based care to children with respiratory illnesses, including high dependency care e.g. CATS and ECMO
- Identify patient's specific needs and work in partnership with their families
- Undertake a respiratory assessment on an unwell child.
