The aim of the module is to introduce theoretical perspectives of work and organisational psychology as a framework within which students can analyse and reflect upon practice.

English Requirements

For those students whose first language is not English one of the
following qualifications is also required:

  • IELTS: 7.0
  • TOEFL (internet-based): 107

What will I learn?

The module will enable you to:

  • Critically appraise contemporary theoretical perspectives and evidence from the field of work and organisational psychology in relation to the understanding of self and others
  • Reflect upon and analyse the difficult, distressing and challenging aspects of work and professional relationships using a variety of techniques and processes
  • Critically review thinking about work as a result of this reflection.

Mode of delivery
Mode of delivery consists of six lectures/workshops and a student directed critical reflective practice.
