- Neonatal respiratory physiology
- Common neonatal respiratory conditions
- Invasive and non-invasive ventilation strategies in the neonatal environment
- Blood gases
- X-rays
- Managing babies on a ventilator and on CPAP
- Hands on practice.

Eligibility
- You must be a qualified nurse or midwife either in the UK or overseas.

- Working in a suitable practice area.
What will I learn?
The short course will enable you to:- Gain knowledge of blood gases analysis
- Gain knowledge and an understanding of neonatal ventilation strategies and ventilation management
- Engage in practical hands on experience with ventilators with experienced trainers
- Apply theory to practice through scenario exercises.
