  • X-rays
  • Managing babies on a ventilator and on CPAP
  • Hands on practice.

Eligibility

  • You must be a qualified nurse or midwife either in the UK or overseas.

The module requires you to be:

  • Working in a suitable practice area.

What will I learn?

The short course will enable you to:

  • Gain knowledge of blood gases analysis
  • Gain knowledge and an understanding of neonatal ventilation strategies and ventilation management
  • Engage in practical hands on experience with ventilators with experienced trainers
  • Apply theory to practice through scenario exercises.
